Wanda Freitas

Paralegal

Bio

I immigrated from Brazil in 1991 and since then I have lived in the State of New Jersey. I was waitressing and bartending during the time that I was studying to become a Paralegal. Since my early age, I have been fascinated with law and the justice system. I obtained my Paralegal Certificate from Horizon Paralegal Studies and then my Bachelor of Arts in Paralegal Studies from Ashwood University. During my professional career, I have been exposed to several fields of law, but the one that really captivated my heart is Civil Litigation. As a Plaintiff Personal Injury Paralegal for more than 15 years, I have worked for reputable law firms handling large personal injury and medical malpractice cases. For me, nothing is more rewarding than helping injured people. Every settlement is a victory to be celebrated and bringing them back to their normal way of living, is always my goal.

I love outdoors activities, including gardening, biking, and volunteering for Golf Tournaments in New Jersey. I am also an active volunteer for the New Jersey Cares in some of their programs. I enjoy serving the community where I reside by participating in their events as well as the community in my church.
